Although everyone agrees that some form of exercise is generally beneficial, due to the improved heart circulation and increase in lung capacity, and that it can help with anti aging through the glow that comes with this increased activity, it can also have a negative effect as well. Therefore, knowing when to exercise and when to stop, as well as how much exercise you should do, is fairly important not only for anti aging, but your health too.

The Benefits Of Regular Exercise

One of the ways that the aging process is increased is if someone is carrying excess weight, since the skin is stretched and the health of an overweight or obese person will suffer, thus leading to them looking older than they are. Therefore, the weight that is lost through regular exercising will naturally lead to a healthier individual all round, and the benefits where anti aging are concerned will be there for all to see.

Too Much Doesn't Always Mean Good

On the flipside to this is if you suddenly find yourself exercising too much, which can happen if not monitored properly. For instance, one of the ways that the body loses weight is through cardiovascular workouts, as opposed to weights. Since this is a more active and vigorous type of exercise, the body expends more energy. When this happens, unless you're replacing the energy spent with antioxidants and nutrients, your skin will become damaged as poisonous toxins and body chemicals seep through the pores. When this happens, the damaged skin will have the look of age.

Although too much exercise can definitely have its drawbacks, don't let this put you off exercising completely.
