Jane wanted to look her best for her daughter’s wedding. But with
a double chin and fat in all the wrong places, she didn’t feel very
comfortable in a glamorous dress. Then a friend told her about
mesotherapy.
Liposuction and plastic surgery were not methods that Jane was
willing to try, no matter how fat she felt. Although there could be
some bruising and maybe a bit of pain around the injection areas,
mesotherapy was considered safe and reliable as a technique to
reduce fat and cellulite deposits.
Although Jane wasn’t fond of needles, the thought of losing the fat
on her arms, legs, waist and thighs, as well as that droopy chin,
was enough to encourage her to try it.
The half-hour procedure needed to be done by a qualified doctor, so
Jane went ahead and booked an appointment. After explaining that
treatment usually needed to be ongoing and could be expensive since
it wasn’t covered by health insurance, the doctor ordered some tests
and wanted a complete medical history.
Jane’s treatment would consist of drugs, vitamins, and plant
extracts customized just for her. The tests would indicate any
allergies present so she wouldn’t have to worry about an allergic
reaction. There were also people with specific medical conditions
that would find the mesotherapy treatment hazardous. These included
pregnant or nursing women, heart patients, those with diabetes or
serious diseases, and people using blood thinners.
Once it was established that Jane was a suitable candidate for the
mesotherapy treatment, she was ready to start. Unfortunately, Jane
had a bad headache the day of the treatment. She was pleased to hear
that the procedure also cured headaches and if she suffered from
carpal tunnel, that could be helped too. A customized mixture was
injected just under her skin. As it began to work, fat cells would
be flushed away, leaving tighter skin and less noticeable wrinkles.
Jane could expect to see the results in one to two weeks, plenty of
time before the wedding.
She would need to drink lots of water and make sure she exercised
and ate a healthy, balanced diet so that her attractive new body
would stay that way. If the doctor felt it would be beneficial, Jane
would have to visit for more treatments.
Time passed and Jane started to see the results of her treatment.
Even though she wasn’t too keen about having needles, the rewards
were worth it. Hearing the appreciative whistle from her husband
whenever she walked by and seeing her friends' admiring glances
really helped Jane’s self esteem. And she sure looked good in that
mother-of-the-bride dress!
